Spelling

Children are taught to spell during daily phonics lessons applying their phonic knowledge. The words which they are being taught each week are put up on the website on your childs class page in the "Weekly Focus" section. The children practise using these spellings in their writing and their lessons.

Children are asked to correct learned words during the lesson and are praised for spelling correctly.
